On September 11, Fortune China released its highly anticipated 2024 list of the Most Socially Impactful Startups, and Westlake Pharma was named to the list.

Reason for Inclusion: Westlake Pharma has built a synergistic system encompassing "target screening, structural analysis, molecule design, drug synthesis, formulation optimization, and functional validation." The company is dedicated to developing first-in-class drugs for major human diseases. In its introduction to the list, Fortune stated: "This list focuses on innovation, be it in technology or business models.
