December 5, Hangzhou – The "2023 Zhejiang Provincial Venture Capital Summit Forum and Zhejiang Venture Capital and Innovation Achievements Matchmaking Conference," hosted by the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province and co-organized by the Zhejiang Venture Capital Association and the Hangzhou Branch of China Everbright Bank Co., Ltd., successfully concluded in Hangzhou.

The 2023 Zhejiang Venture Capital Annual Lists were grandly unveiled at the event. Westlake Pharma was honored to be named to the TOP 50 Most Investment-Worthy Innovative Enterprises in Zhejiang 2023.

The theme of this year's event was "Focusing on High-Quality Development and Boosting New Momentum for Venture Capital." The conference was attended by distinguished guests including Mao Guanglie, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress and Honorary Chairman of the Zhejiang Venture Capital Association; Qiu Feizhang, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Chairman of the Zhejiang Venture Capital Association; Zhou Tufa, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology; Fu Wenjun, Director of the Finance and Financial Markets Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Shi Feng, Director of the Finance and Financial Markets Division of the Hangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission; and Zheng Jun, Chairman of Zhejiang Financial Holdings Investment Management Co., Ltd. Over 350 representatives from venture capital firms and technology enterprises also participated in the event.

The "2023 Zhejiang Venture Capital Annual Lists," initiated by China Bridge, were announced on-site. The lists were divided into two categories: the TOP 50 Most Investment-Worthy Innovative Enterprises in Zhejiang 2023 and the TOP 50 Venture Capital Firms in Zhejiang 2023. The selection process included a launch phase, applications from participating organizations, data compilation, and final evaluation. Adhering strictly to the principles of fairness, impartiality, and transparency, the final list was generated based on data from 2022 and 2023 provided by the applicants, combined with reviews from expert judges.

During the Zhejiang Venture Capital and Innovation Achievements Matchmaking Conference held in the afternoon, Westlake Pharma was invited to present a roadshow as a representative of outstanding technology enterprises. Dr. Liang Dongdong, General Manager and R&D Director of Westlake Pharma, delivered a project presentation titled "The R&D and Industrialization of First-in-Class Small-Molecule Drugs." The project received high attention and strong endorsement from the expert panelists on-site.
