Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct screening and optimization of recombinant protein expression systems, taking responsibility for the establishment of both prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression platforms;
2. Lead the recombinant protein purification platform, including the setup of high-throughput automated protein purification systems;
3. Actively participate in protein design and engineering tasks, assisting in vitro and in vivo functional departments with the evaluation of recombinant protein drug activity and pharmacological properties;
4. Carry out target research and actively engage in the assessment and initiation of new target projects;
5. Complete other tasks assigned by senior management.
Job Requirements:
1. Background in Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or related fields; no specific educational requirements; candidates with prior experience in recombinant protein drug development are preferred;
2. Proficient in expressing recombinant proteins using E. coli, yeast, mammalian cells, insect cells, and other expression systems; extensive experience in selecting and optimizing expression systems, with familiarity in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) protein expression process development;
3. Expertise in producing recombinant proteins and antibodies; familiar with automated high-throughput protein production platforms based on pipetting workstations, as well as the design and process optimization of bispecific antibodies;
4. Capable of independently designing experiments, troubleshooting issues that arise during experimentation, and analyzing experimental results;
5. Strong team player with excellent collaborative, communication, coordination, and presentation skills;
6. Ability to read and interpret English scientific literature fluently, and possesses some proficiency in writing English research reports;
7. Demonstrates a sense of responsibility and can proactively undertake multiple roles.
